In this case series study seven patients with fish tank granuloma are presented.ĭuring 3 months (2016), three people who had cutaneous lymphatic lesions on their extremities were referred to parasitology laboratory of Emam Reza Hospital and special clinics. This agent is the inhabitant of swimming pools, home aquaria and animals living inside salt or fresh water. Mycobacterium marinum is a free living acid fast bacterium which classified as atypical mycobacterium and causes a cutaneous lymphatic disease called Fish tank or swimming pool granuloma.
